This poster explores a journey home from a long road trip I took with my wife to Washington.
I always find myself drawing and painting this Yellow Dwarf Umbrella Tree in my studio. Its crooked shape amazes me—it’s a wonder it’s still standing in its pot! For this watercolor piece, I started with a continuous blind contour sketch using a Uni-ball Eye Micro pen.
