Big Man in a Coffee Shop
This illustration came from a random sketch in Procreate. I continue to explore different types of illustration techniques to find the best fit. Like this piece, I often end up with an illustration outlined in medium black strokes and a limited color pallet. I lump this type of illustration into flat 2-dimensional design. That doesn't mean there are no shadows or highlights to give an illusion of 3-dimensions, but the technique simplifies shapes and does not try to make something look realistic.
