Soup Sketch

I wanted to draw these soups because of the bright colors. I am unsure if colored pencils were the right medium, but it’s done. Looking back, I might have used something like Tombow’s watercolor markers. It was fun to sketch, though, and the amount of materials used to do this little sketch is funny when you look at them all in a photo (below). The list is General Pencil’s Kimberly 6H, Uni Pins (.01, .03, and .04), Derwent Drawing pencils, Prismacolor pencils, Pentel’s Aqua Water Brush, Prismacolor Art Gum eraser, Canson XL Mixed Media sketchbook (5.5 x 8.5), random pencil sharpener (I think I bought at a grocery store for my daughter, but I ended up liking it, and an excellent line stencil from Etsy.
